Nina Stillman Mandel was born in New York, New York, in 1962. She received her bachelor's degree from Brown University in International Relations (A.B. 1983), and her law degree from the University of Chicago Law School (J.D. 1988). She is admitted to practice in Illinois and Florida.
After two years in private practice in Chicago and Miami, Nina joined the U.S. Attorney's office in Miami. She conducted more than two dozen jury trials concerning several areas of criminal law, involving economic crimes, money laundering, asset forfeiture, narcotics, and other offenses. She also served for three years in the appellate division, handling numerous appeals concerning a broad range of legal issues.
Nina is a member of the Florida Bar, Federal Bar and American Bar Associations.
